Job Purpose

We are recruiting for a part-time Hygiene Operative to join us and support the existing Hygiene department, on a temporary basis of approx. three to six months (with the potential for this to be extended).

This will suit someone with previous cleaning experience, and will involve carrying out various hygiene tasks at our office in Mountain Ash.

Working hours will be 20 per week – 06:00am – 10:00am, Monday to Friday.

An immediate start would be desirable.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly into the Hygiene Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Following cleaning rotas
  • Maintaining high levels of safety awareness and reporting any Health and Safety concerns
  • Ensuring high levels of cleanliness are maintained throughout the site
  • Supporting other hygiene staff

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess good communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills
  • Pay high attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently (after training)
  • Be flexible in approach to work, with ability to cover all aspects of the hygiene services.

Education / Experience


  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable.
  • A good standard of general education would be required.
