Job Purpose

Rocialle Healthcare have been a leading supplier of medical consumables for over 40 yearsWe are seeking a field-based Sales Associate to join our sales team due to an exciting period of growth. Our broad range of products includes Procedure packs for both ward and operating theatre procedures, PPE products and a vast drape range as well as single use instruments.

This is an exciting time to join a business really investing in its growth and the people within it, offering the potential for career progression as the business unit grows. Full clinical and product training is provided, along with a continued professional development programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Business Development Manager, commercial and customer services teams to utilise NHS objectives to create and implement business plans per account to drive sales.
  • Implement sales plans and support all marketing activity
  • Support at exhibitions and other trade shows
  • Develop current business growth opportunities within the community and acute settings in line with sales targets and objectives
  • Developing relationships and building up a rapport with specialist nurses, theatre managers and procurement at all levels within the NHS and private hospital market
  • Accelerating profitable sales growth, identifying key brands and focus accounts, utilising appropriate data
  • Gather customer, competitor, framework and wider NHS intelligence considering and verbalising potential business impact.
  • Complying with all internal and external codes of conduct, including GDPR and all regulatory bodies.

Education / Experience

  • Strong numerical, analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach (essential).
  • Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships (essential).
  • Candidates will be degree educated and ideally have a life science or business degree.
  • Ideally, they will have some sales experience – as a minimum they must have worked in a commercial position to date (perhaps supporting themselves while studying).
  • Alternatively, they could have some clinical focus – Physiotherapy etc and be looking to move into sales.
  • > 12 months field sales experience (preferable).
  • Medical Sales experience (preferable).
  • Experience in utilising Microsoft office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint (essential).
