Job Purpose

We are recruiting for a Goods Handler to join us at Rocialle Healthcare Ltd. We have a sophisticated Electron Beam (E-Beam) facility onsite, which ensures the sterilisation of our surgical products/PPE, before these products are sent out to our customers. This guarantees that our products are always completely hygienic and ready for use in a medical setting.

This role will be imperative in ensuring the safe and efficient running of the E-Beam facility. You will be processing goods, following the specific protocols we have in place, and ensuring the business operations run smoothly, meeting customer needs.

Please note: We have ensured that all correct and relevant safety protocols are in place for our E-Beam facility. Despite this, there is a very small risk that females of a child-bearing age could be impacted if any severe issues arose within the facility. Although this is highly unlikely, we have to be responsible for the safety of our staff and regretfully this means that we cannot employ females of a child-bearing age in the E-Beam facility. No other departments are impacted by this regulation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the correct procedures within the E-Beam area are followed consistently
  • Adhering to all E-Beam safety rules and regulations

  • Ensuring all ‘daily check’ documents are completed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Assisting with Inventory when necessary
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, including in the surrounding yard
  • Maintaining high levels of safety awareness, raising safety observations where applicable
  • Demonstrating the ability to follow instructions and retain safety information
  • Working as part of a team and showing use of your own initiative
  • Supporting the Warehouse Team Leaders and Supervisors with all day-to-day tasks
  • Actioning ad-hoc tasks to support the operational needs of the business
  • Being flexible with occasional requirements for working overtime or outside of normal hours if the need arises
  • Being diligent with regards to timekeeping, attendance, and general commitment to the basic objectives of the Company.

Education / Experience

  • You should have good basic Numeracy and Literacy skills
