Job Purpose

To gain and maintain new business through B2B and B2C channels achieving geographical sales and profit performance targets which contribute to the success of the overall division.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be a key contributor in establishing and growing the Emperor product range(s) in order to achieve long-term divisional success
  • Implement agreed sales activities and tactical plans under the direction of the Business Development Manager (BDM)
  • To achieve and exceed performance targets using robust Key Performance Indicators
  • Actively seek out new sales leads and business development opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver regional cost-benefit analysis data to key financial decision makers in support of the Emperor strategy & value proposition
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships through superior customer communication skills
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements within the Rocialle Direct markets
  • Support the research of market trends, demographics, pricing strategies and other relevant information for both current and potential new business areas
  • To participate in monthly business feedback sessions and report on territory performance
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the Rocialle Direct product & service portfolio in association with high level competitor intelligence
  • Provide internal and external product training on the range of products and services within the Emperor product portfolio
  • Represent the company at local and national exhibitions in line with divisional tactical plans
  • Following up on regional sales leads in a timely manner, recording and presenting outcomes
  • Support new business opportunities with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Carry out any other tasks required to support the needs of the business

Education / Experience

Essential 

  • Previous sales experience with proven demonstrable results
  • Sound commercial understanding of the NHS at both primary and secondary care level
  • Evidence of previous sales success
  • Ability to build early rapport
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Minimum of 1 year’s sales experience with demonstrable achievements
  • Proactive professional approach
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • High integrity, dependable and trustworthy
  • Attention to detail

Desirable 

  • RGN or equivalent qualification
  • Educated to degree level
