Job Purpose

Are you an ambitious and driven individual looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Field Based Account Manager to join our newest business division.

You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through B2B and B2C sales, working collaboratively with the wider team. You will be responsible for implementing sales activities and contributing to the long-term success of the business, ensuring that customer needs are met through the delivery of effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement agreed sales activities under the direction of the Business Development Manager (BDM)
  • Contribute to sustaining and growing the business in order to achieve long-term success
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements to ensure the delivery of solutions to meet their needs
  • Prepare and deliver cost-benefit analysis data to support strategy & value proposition
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the Rocialle Direct product & service portfolio
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of competitor product & service portfolios
  • Actively seek out new sales leads and business development opportunities
  • Support the research of market trends, demographics, pricing strategies and other relevant information for both current and potential new business areas
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships through superior customer communication skills
  • Provide internal and external product training on the range of products and services within the Rocaille Direct portfolio
  • Support new business opportunities with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Represent the company at local and national exhibitions in line with divisional tactical plans
  • Responsible for following up regional sales leads in a timely manner, recording and presenting outcomes
  • Carry out any other tasks required to support the needs of the business

 

Education / Experience

Education, Qualifications, Training

Essential 

  • Previous sales and marketing experience with proven demonstrable results

Desirable 

  • Educated to a degree level
  • RGN or equivalent qualification

Skills, Knowledge 

  • Time management and planning skills
  • Sound understanding of the NHS at both primary and secondary care levels
  • Demonstrable transferable skill set from clinical background to a sales environment
  • Ability to build early rapport
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year’s post qualification clinical experience and/or sales experience with demonstrable achievements

  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • High integrity, dependable and trustworthy
  • Attention to detail
